Tuesday Update at 4:45 pm

Hello! Thank you for your patience in waiting on the updates. We don't have very good internet reception here at the rehab facility, and it has hindered us a little from posting. We hope that we will be able to get back to posting daily or every other day. We know everyone is still interested in following Heather's progress, and we appreciate that so much. Just yesterday, there were 20 states and 16 countries that were looking at her website. We stand in amazement that the Lord is continuing to use her story as He has! Things are going well. The move to Chattanooga was a little stressful for Heather at first, but she is beginning to get a little more comfortable with the therapist, and the way they do things here. Things are slow, but she is making progress. They are mainly working on strengthening her balance and standing her to get the muscles woke up in that leg. You can tell that some of her muscle tone is returning, but we haven't seen any real significant movement; however, she is showing some movement in her right hip. Things take time! Keep praying!!!! We have a quick little video from Heather to you, and we hope it will brighten your day! She is a character!!!! Also, at first glance of the picture of her resting between therapies, it looks as if she is strapped in her chair with black straps. What appears to be "black straps" is just trim on her blanket that was made for her by friends and loved ones who attended her 30th birthday party back in January!
